Seal Gas Filter
Product description
A large quantity of modern process gas compressors is equipped with Dry Gas Seals. A Dry Gas Seal Supply System is used to make sure that the gas entering the Dry Gas Seals is conditioned correctly to maintain optimal seal health. Filtration is an important part of Seal Gas Conditioning, as it ensures no particulate or liquid contaminations to enter the Dry Gas Seals and cause pre mature seal failure.
On request TM Filters can deliver filtration products that exceed API 614 requirements and achieve laboratory grade efficiencies as good as β0,2µm > 1000.
TM Filters has a broad Seal Gas Filter portfolio and can deliver custom made Seal Gas Filters for every demanding Seal Gas Application.
Technical characteristics
Design:
- Available in Single (1x100%) and Duplex (2x100%) configurations
- Non Welded Filter Systems API 614
- Pressure vessels acc. ASME VIII, PED or any other pressure vessel code on request
- Inlet, Outlet, Drain & Vent connections can be fitted to all industry standard connections
- Sizes ranging from ½-inch to 4-inch in all industry standard pressure classes
- TM Filters can design the complete filter system to meet customer requirements
API 614 Requirements:
- Filter efficiency β3µm > 1000 absolute according to API 614 (§ 4.3.1.1)
- Filter efficiency for coalescing 99,9% <0,001ppm
- Filter element clean pressure drop of 21kPa at twice the gas flow according to API 614 (§ 4.3.2.1)
- Filter element collapse pressure > 500kPa according to API 614 (§ 4.3.1.2)
Housing Material:
- AISI 316L Stainless Steel
- All Exotic materials available on request
Transfer Valves:
- Zero leak Double 3-Way Ball Valves
- Zero leak Double Block & Bleed 3-Way Ball Valves
- All Transfer Valves are full bore
Optional items:
