Lube Oil Filter

Product description

Turbomachinery like Turbines, Compressors and Pumps are subject to mechanical friction. Optimal lubrication can be ensured by using oil filtered to the highest degree possible. To ensure safe and reliable operation our Lube Oil Filters are designed according ASME VIII and sized according to API 614 latest edition. On request TM Filters can deliver filtration products that exceeds API 614 requirements and achieve laboratory grade efficiencies as good as β0,2µm > 1000.

Technical characteristics

Design:

  • Non Welded Filter Systems
  • Available in Single (1x100%) and Duplex (2x100%) configurations
  • Pressure vessels acc. ASME VIII, PED or any other pressure vessel code on request
  • Inlet, Outlet, Drain & Vent connections can be fitted to all industry standard connections
  • Sizes ranging from ½-inch to 8-inch in all industry standard pressure classes
  • TM Filters can design the complete filter system to meet customer requirements

 

API 614 Requirements:

  • Filter efficiency β10µm > 10 nominal & β15µm > 200 absolute according to API 614 (§ 4.6.1)
  • Filter element clean pressure drop at 40 °C < 30 kPa according to API 614 (§ 4.6.7)
  • Filter element collapse pressure > 500kPa according to API 614 (§ 4.6.8)

 

Housing Material:

  • AISI 316L Stainless Steel
  • Standard Carbon Steel SA105N / SA106
  • All Exotic materials available on request

 

Transfer Valves:

  • Zero leak Double 3-Way Ball Valves
  • All Transfer Valves are full bore
  • Individual Transfer Valves are designed according to API 614 (§ 4.7)

 

Optional items:

  • TM Filters or any other make vent and drain valves
  • Differential pressure instrumentation
  • Pressure safety or Thermal relief valves
  • Mounted on a base frame
  • Special name plates
